My name is Jessica Hathaway and I am your Cairns local photographer. My photography journey began when I was 15 years old and I got my very first Canon EOS 500D. It's started off at your typical flower, family backyard shots. Taking it with me on all the family holidays making sure to snap up everything. It wasn't until my early 20s was it that I discovered just how creative photography could be. Levelling up my skills i went from auto to manual mode my mind was blown when learning new techniques and skills to enhance my photography. It's now not just a matter of taking a simple photo but to create art!

Born in Cairns naturally i fell in love with the luscious rainforest and surroundings around us and wanted to capture these beautiful sights and use them as backdrops in my photoshoots.

It wasn't until a few years later when my friends became pregnant and was given the opportunity to explore something new. From that I found my love for maternity photoshoots. Capturing the glow and pure love that a mother/mother to be in her time of growing life and entering motherhood was my calling.

I am also finding my love for weddings. Having someone there from the very beginning planning and communicating, to fluffing your dress telling how gorgeous you are, being with you every step of the way. I am here to capture those hidden quiet moments no one sees and to the big emotions and celebrations of love.

With a mixture of storytelling and posing, I am here to provide all my clients with timeless memories they will cherish and look back on when you are old and wrinkly with love and laughter. Not just seeing but feeling every photo as if it were yesterday.
